While we recommend logging all your dives in Narwhal to get to most accurate quick summaries of your Total Time or Number of Dive Sites, many experienced divers will have completed numerous dives before using Narwhal.

If you want start your Narwhal dive logging from your latest dive, you can edit the dive number of the dive you are adding by following the steps below. All subsequent dives will continue onwards from the dive number of the previous logged dive.

1. Add a new dive

Tap on the “+” button in the bottom right corner

2. Edit the Dive number

• Tap on the Dive number at the top of the page (i.e. “Dive 1”)
• Scroll to select the current number of the dive you are logging (i.e. “52”)

• Tap anywhere outside of the popup to close the Dive number selector
• Your Dive number is now updated to the selected number
